  Directorate-General Joint Research Centre - EU Task Force for Expo Milan 2015 The Traineeship Programme of the EU pavilion has been developed in collaboration with Centro Servizi Volontariato (CSV) in Milan. It targeted 1000 youngsters from European countries chosen among many thousands following an open call, an interview and a selection process. Prior to join the EU pavilion, the volunteers passed a training programme including dedicated sessions on the EU policies, its institutions and the activities of the EU at Expo Milan 2015. - Welcomed visitors, introduced them to the Pavilion and explained the main goals of the EU's participation in EXPO Milan 2015 in different languages;- Was involved in the evaluation of the level of satisfaction of the visitors by means of dedicated surveys;- Participated in meetings and events organized by the EU Pavilion; - Gained understanding of the main initiatives of the European Union in the fields of food security and sustainability. On 1-2 June 2018 ACP YPN participated at the European Youth Event 2018 which took place on 1-2 in the European Parliament's seat in Strasbourg. As part of the ACP YPN Delegation to the EYE 2018 in Strasbourg, I facilitated a workshop on EU-ACP trade deal based on the six thematic areas of EU-ACP post-Cotonou relations (I. Human rights, fundamental freedoms, democracy, rule of law and good governance; II. Inclusive sustainable economic development; III. Environment and climate change; IV. Peace, security and justice; V. Migration and mobility; VI. Human development and dignity). I also assisted ACP YPN with the organization of the logistical aspects of the delegation mission to Strasbourg.
