  Automation design - fruits quality assurance

  Project on ways for replacing manual inspection with automated inspection to reduce bad quality of fruits reaching customers.Initially came up with idea of PACKSORT - image processing fruits with a regular camera in a box.But the internal quality of fruits was not ensured perfectly.Performed research on finding fruits quality using Spectrophotometer.Then looked into the ways of incorporating the Spectrophotometer for the quality inspection.

  -Govt. organization, DST Young Scientist sponsored project worth 30 Lakh INR (400 Thousand USD).-Journal published by Mech Dept, NIT Trichy.https://doi.org/10.1016/j.energy.2019.01.079 -Combustion analysis of biodiesel extracted from Beal seeds (Aegle Marmalos) and comparison with diesel.-Simulation of biodiesel blends combustion to compare corrosion effects, friction coefficient, BTE & BSFC performance metrics and CO, HC & NO emissions with that of diesel.
