      In my role as Store Manager at Sainsbury’s, I am responsible for directing all facets of initiatives involved in operations, sales, and team development processes whilst maintaining compliance with brand standards, KPIs, and best practices. One of my key roles is to ensure sufficient operational coverage by supervising staffing resources whilst achieving labour and productivity targets. I oversee all HR and ER operations with team including managing recruitment, people development, disciplinary proceedings/appeals, right-to-work, and payroll processes. I deliver best-in-class and welcoming service indicative of company set standards whilst resolving complaints proactively. I also participate in continuous improvement and change initiatives by liaising closely with senior management to enable informed decision-making aimed at preventing sales/service performance disruption. I administer/complete regular staff appraisals to meet development objectives and corporate ethos. In addition to that, I manage store budget including executing cost reduction/revenue-generating initiatives, developing action plans as well as overseeing receipt/replenishment of stock.
