(Oct.2011 to till date) Role: Team Manager ● Responsible for creating a safety culture on shopfloor. ● Drive performance meetings, improvement meetings and related activities ● Set and follow up targets for the team and each team member derived from unit level targets ● Support production of Welded Heat Exchanger’s as per plan ● Prepare Capacity plan for execution and monitoring it. ● Coordinate with Purchase, Planning & Order handling Engineer for Scheduling & Priorities – Factory as well as Supplier End. ● Coordinate with Inspection & welding Engineers for stage & final Inspection – In Factory as well as Supplier end. ● New Supplier Development & existing Supplier competency development & follow up. ● Monthly & quarterly review of inventory & demand forecast, costing. ● Active participation of costing update. ● Ensure weekly execution of Spirals in-line with monthly plan. ● Ensure successful working of ALPS- Production boards as per guidelines ● Very close coordinating with Order handling, Planning, Purchase, QC, stores and Logistics ● Ensure right quality throughout the production process. Follow up & stage inspection. ● VA-NVA analysis through VSM for manufacturing processes. ● Drive LSS projects & implementation of TPM ● Drive 5S process in shop floor and ensure SOP for all critical activities. ● Well exposed working knowledge of MRP based manufacturing systems. ● Proactive actions on implement corrective and preventive actions for claims ● Should ensure clear communication among the team.
