  As a member of Juvenile Care, a student-run NGO club, I am truly humbled and grateful to have been part of several fundraising events and social awareness drives carried out throughout the year to help and assist the underprivileged children and communities, in and around the city of Vellore.Some of the events that I helped organize and conduct, by joining hands, were:Juvenile Care Premier League: An annual sports competition held at VIT Vellore that provides an opportunity to kids from several orphanages and special-education schools to showcase their physical talents and team efforts on an even playing field. Each One Teach One Program: A daily educational initiative where members along with volunteers go to a designated orphanage to teach and enlighten the kids on several subjects and help them with their school work based off a one-to-one learning environment. Project Sparsh: A two-day medical camp held at a village that lack access to basic medical facilities and diagnostic centres. Several doctors and physicians are invited to provide their services along with prescribing medicines (all free-of-cost), for which a temporary pharmacy is also built and arranged at the camp.   I have completed my personal and professional path named Innovative Planning in the Pathways Educational Program. Being elected as the President of Fogo-VIT, a TMI college club, I was able to learn, improve and implement various skillsets in the entirety of my working term. I had to make several decisions regarding various aspects of the club such as public relations, membership management, educational programme, documentation and logistics. In doing so, I was able to grow and develop my interpersonal, communication, team-building and awareness skills. My role was to facilitate the educational programmes of all the enrolled members of my club and to help them attain their goals in their respective curriculums. While keeping track of member progress, I was also responsibee to help the club achieve the club quality and club avenue awards based on the growth of members and session quality.

  Development of Alloy Wheel using High Pressure Die Casting Route. The main objective of the project was to reduce the lead cycle time of the production of alloy wheels. The outline of the project included several components and activities such as material selection and benchmarking, heat treatment design, process design and modification, gating system design, die mould design and manufacturing. The target is to enable efficient transition of the production of alloy wheels from existing GDC process to the HPDC process. Show less

  As a graduate trainee engineer, I had to undergo several orientation programs and training modules to gain knowledge about the vertical and horizontal functional teams inside the company, as well as all the third party vendors involved in the product cycle. As part of the training program, I was assigned to the Engine Assembly department of the Two-Wheel division of Bajaj Auto Ltd., Chakan to identify quality improvement areas in its process cycle. I identified and worked on a one-month long project with the objective of developing self - diagnostic Poke-Yoke devices in various assembly operations in the main line as well as machining operations in its sub-divisions. I developed the UI design of an app based module as well as logic for maintenance of all tools and machines connected to ANDON system. Post joining BAL-Akurdi, I worked on completing the entire die design for alloy wheel casting in HPDC process along with its cost estimation analysis. The project was completed at the material procurement stage. During the training period, I took up couple more design and process related projects aiming at possibilities of converting the primary process of the component into a leaner and more cost-effective process available in the industry.
