  I was part of the engineering department of Ghana’s national oil regulator who were responsible for supervising the large spectrum of oil and gas engineering activities such as well design, drilling, reservoir simulation, field developments, oil and production and compliance in the various operations in-country. Specific responsibilities included auditing and data management of Jubilee field and Saltpond oil field productions, monitoring of well performance of all wells in the Jubilee field to ensure optimal productivity, reservoir modeling of the Jubilee field with tNavigator to advice on the right production and management of the reservoir, well designing and planning with Landmark drilling suite.   Ten project logistics and services

  I joined a multi discipline team who were responsible for ensuring all logistics deliverables for a multibillion dollar project met their target. Specific responsibilities included inspecting equipment destined for offshore, creating and developing the manifests and ensuring they were delivered on time, to the right team in order to meet the scheduled sailing of the vessels. Assisted in the co-ordination and planning for the various vessels working in the TEN field, creating and maintaining a daily tracker to enable all relevant parties to see at a glance any vessel location and activity. Ensured input to the offshore personnel management system, iCAMS, was timely and correct, thus allowing the reporting on rosters, flight requests and personnel on board to always be current. Created a database of all vessels that called to the ports of the project operations, this helped to overcome vessel berthing delays a challenge that was faced by the project thereby reducing time that was spent on berthing arrangements and costs of vessels on standby. Essentially, this database was a major contributor to the project meeting all offshore vessels and cargo supply run targets throughout the project; over 360 days of vessel tracking, 42 outward load-outs, 36 backloads, no lost cargo and no lost time. This was a fast paced environment where priorities shifted often and quickly, depending on the work scope. Show less
