  I was a Senior Auditor at PwC, South Africa in the Non-Financial Services division. At PwC, I gained three years of audit experience whereby she planned, led and performed audit work on the specific clients. Clients ranged from retail, property, warehousing and logistics, transportation, print media, advertising, with exposure to listed, non-profit organizations and privately owned companies under IFRS and IFRS for SMEs.

  I have recently joined the Accounting Advisory team at CrossCountry Consulting. Prior to joining the CrossCountry Advisory Accounting team, I was part of the CrossCountry Consulting three-month flexible engagement program in which I was contracted to EY. During that period, I assisted with both listed and non-listed U.S entity clients that are in the manufacturing and retail industries.Since I joined Accounting Advisory, I have had the privilege's in being exposed to the following U.S GAAP standards:ASC 606: I was required to review revenue contracts and summarize the terms and conditions of the contracts in a template and thereafter determine whether revenue has been appropriately recognized through analyzing the revenue recognition identified by the analysts together with what I have noted from the contracts and thereafter make my own conclusion.ASC 842: I reviewed operating lease contracts and a lease option agreement, and determined the appropriate accounting implication thereof in terms of ASC 842 through preparing a technical accounting memo. I performed lease accounting recognition and measurement calculations of finance leases.
