  Tomás is the President at PRLinks Communications, Inc., he has a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Administration with a Major in Marketing and minor in French from Fairfield University, CT. His previous work experience has been with Hill & Knowlton as Public Relations Account Executive from 1985 to 1987. From 1987 to 1997 Tomás worked as advertising Account Director in charge of local and regional businesses and from 1997 to 2006 he served as VP of Public Relations at GCI Puerto Rico, then part of integrated communications agency, Grey Puerto Rico.His past experiences have included PR programs, advertising campaigns, market research and opinion polls, promotional activities and direct marketing efforts. Tomas has gained valuable experience working with clients such as Procter & Gamble, Hyundai, WalMart, Merck, Coors Brewing, Centennial Communications, Pearle Vision, Dell and Abbott, among many others.In May of 2006, Tomás launched PRLinks Communications an independent public relations and marketing consultancy firm. PRL’s main clients are: adidas, British Virgin Islands Tourist Board, Liberty Communications of Puerto Rico, Ponce Health Sciences University, Bayer Crop Sciences and Truenorth Corporation, among othersTomas’ years of experience in both the public relations field and marketing have given him a unique perspective on the importance of balanced/integrated communications. As president of PRLinks he is the main account director for all clients and works in close collaboration with his staff of communication experts. Tomás is a licensed (R-17) Public Relations practitioner in Puerto Rico, board member of the Puerto Rico Public Relations Professionals Association as President-elect for 2022, and an Accredited Public Relations Practitioner (APR) of the PRSA, the Public Relations Association of America - one of only approximately 25 in Puerto Rico.
