Operations include overseeing HR, procurement, logistics, IT, and security departments country-wide.Financial Management& Compliance’ Main responsibilities:Make sure that whole team is complied with GC practices as outlined in the Field Finance and Accounting Manual. Ensure that appropriate financial regulations and internal controls are in place at Country Office & field offices and are enforced with GC standard operating procedures and donor requirements. Coaching and mentoring field office finance team by developing capacity building plans and conducting regular performance review in coordination with field office managers. Develop and monitor expenditures against fiscal year and life-of-project budgets. Supervise the preparation of precise monthly cash projections for the submission of monthly drawdown requests to GC HQ. Oversee the preparation and review of the GC sub-office budget during GC annual budgeting process. Oversee the preparation of the monthly accounting statements and supporting documentation for dispatch to GC Headquarters including their review and certification. Leading the preparation of all proposal budgets along with budget narrative in line with donor guidelines while insuring all GC requirements is achieved. Prepare, update and finalize budget tables and final financial report for donor reports. Develop partners’ financial verification system and build capacity of finance team sub award management. Carry out inductions and staff trainings for finance procedures, donor requirements etc. Supervise the preparation of project/program budget; provide profit and loss reports with burn-rates to Program Directors on monthly basis with appropriate spending justification, if necessary.
