  i. Carry out inspections of transformers, current transformers, voltage transformers, vacuum circuit breakers and all other components in the substation to ensure they are in the best operating condition.ii. Prepare reports and work plan for corrective maintenance of anomalies in substation equipment.iii. Participate in carrying out corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance within the windfarm to guarantee high availability of balance of plant.iv. Keep up to date inventory of spares of all substation equipment & ensure all spares that fall short of safety stock levels are procured.v. Prepare timely reports of inspections and works performed and follow up on all action items to ensure they are closed out within a reasonable time. vi. Present monthly section updates to technical senior leadership on the status substation and switchgear.vii. Perform timely and optimized predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance work on all electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation equipment at the power plant in accordance with the system’s technical description. 2. Participate in unscheduled maintenance, breakdowns, or troubleshooting when required. 3. Prepare timely reports of works performed; 4. Adhere to all safety and health procedures, policies, and practices as stipulated by management.5. Comply with work permit and Lock Out system before commencement of work and ensure proper permit close-out after work completion. 6. Assist maintenance supervisor in the preparation of scheduled maintenance programs and timely monthly and annual report of operation and maintenance of the plant;7. Support the maintenance supervisor in developing and implementation of maintenance plans, procedures, and budgets to ensure sustainable operations. 8.
