  In 2022, after moving from a Mpls suburb to a more rural setting, I met an industrious entrepreneur who raises dairy goats. She invited me to visit her small hobby farm after the kids were born that spring, and I've been helping with chores ever since! I learn something every week from Louise, the 80 yr old farmer and am so grateful to have her, and this experience, in my life.There are few things more enjoyable and humbling in my week than cleaning out pens and water buckets, bottle feeding kids and milking the mommas.
