Highlights include:Collaborate and assist with the Research Director and other WIN staff to complete data requests from partners; completed over 100 specialized requests during FY 2015.Contribute to management and completion of various research and consulting projects including:- WIN Quarterly Reports – 17 reports for various counties/regions in Michigan produced for board members, totaling 2,700+ pages of workforce analysis annually. Reports provide regional education and workforce leaders with real-time labor market data to make future-thinking decisions.- Workforce consulting for national manufacturing research institutes such as LIFT (Lightweight Metals), IACMI (Advanced Composites), and NextFlex (Flexible Electronics).- Consulting projects with regional organizations such as the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau.Generated a unique cost of living index; demonstrated Ann Arbor’s ability to offer competitive wages in high-demand, high-skill occupations relative to major metropolitan areas around the nation for Ann Arbor EDO.Created and presented labor market data presentations for regional and national conferences; fostered awareness for present labor issues.Instructed colleagues in monthly training sessions in order to strengthen team data analytic capabilities.Present “how-tos” on pulling and analyzing labor market data during quarterly "Learning Network Meetings;" improved participant’s abilities to assist clients (students, job seekers, companies) in making data-driven decisions.
