  Promoted through a series of roles and maintained cumulative accountability to ultimately manage the scope previously handled by 4 individuals—I directed a 7-person team with total accounts receivable (AR) in excess of $168M, administered a $550K department budget, and maintained credit-line approval authority for up to $5M. • Oversaw all functions related to accounts receivable (AR), credit, and collections for 4 Martin Resource Management Corporation divisions and 5 Martin Midstream Partners L.P. divisions. Negotiated personal guaranties, cross-corporate guaranties, promissory notes, security agreements, and letters of credit.• Developed a dashboard that identifies behaviors of customers on past-due bills. Wrote conditional formulas in Excel to focus on high-risk accounts to identify growing problems and make informed business decisions based on real data.• Instituted a new policy that required that commercial teams justify collectability of receivables more than 120 days past due.
