  I have participated in several projects, where computational fluid dynamics was used to assess theperformance of the smoke management system. I participated in the following projects:1- Performed the CFD simulation for the smoke management system in the underground parking for a residential building composed of 11 above ground floors and 5 basement floors, the parking area was approximately 35000 m2. The work was done for and under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed A. Medhat, as a representative for the HBNRC (Housing and Building National Research Centre).2- Performed the CFD simulation for the smoke management proposal in the new conference hall building at the New Capital, the work was done for SHAKER consultancy office, I participated as a member of the team at LUUKKI Egypt.3- Performed the CFD simulation for the smoke management system in the underground parking for a residential building at Mena City in Sudan street, The car parking had three underground levels, with a an approximate area of 24000 m2. The work was done for KEM Consultant Engineers, and the final report was submitted and approved at the HBNRC.4- Performed the CFD simulation for the smoke management system in the underground parking for View Mall building, The car parking had one underground level, with a an approximate area of 18000 m2. The work was done for KEM Consultant Engineers, and the final report was submitted and approved at the HBNRC.5- Performed the CFD simulation for the smoke management system in the new Azhar Studios project, I participated as a member of the team at LUUKKI Egypt.6- Performed a CFD simulation to assess the HVAC system performance for the three main halls of the new Opera house in the new Capital.
