      APICHA is a federally-qualified health center (FQHC) located in Chinatown, Manhattan. Project Connect provides programming, education and resources that serve LGBTQ Asian and Pacific Islanders. Project Connect is a program created to improve health outcomes for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and intersex (LGBTQI) Asian and Pacific Islander (API) communities throughout New York City. Project Connect’s goals are as follows: 1) Increase access and improve the quality of health and human services to LGBTQI AΠ 2) Address homophobia and raise awareness of and support for LGBTQI AΠ and 3) Empower LGBTQI API individuals and families, thereby, improving their overall health and well-being.
