May 2012 - Jul 2012Design internI spent my summer in Florence, Italy as a design intern for Luca Bolognese and Silvia Scuffi Abati. I designed multifunctional furniture with Google Sketch Up, which was a new program for me. I also modernized Arabian Jellabiya dresses for a client in Sudan looking to change their traditional look. This was a great learning experience- not only about design but attempting to communicate and convey design terminology and ideas with non-English speaking designers.
