  Served as the Practice Manager in a 28 chair Dental Optimization Clinic which served a population of over 5,000 Soldiers. Provided support to 10 dentist and direct supervision of 34 ancillary personnel. Mentored and conducted repeated evaluations on all subordinates. Was the primary civilian timekeeper for the clinic; maintained all leave request and input of time for pay purposes for all federal and contracted employees. Responsible for overseeing patient schedules and managing all dental care within the dental facility. Responsible for the dental readiness and wellness of the post population. Received excellent reports during a Department of the Army Inspector General Inspection with zero deficiencies. Facilitated the Red Cross Dental Assistant Training Program resulting in 9,000 volunteered man-hours saving the Dental Activity and the United States Army $114,300 in civilian pay. Show less

  Served as the Army’s ambassador with the community. Determined the applicant’s eligibility for service in the Army, counseled the applicant on enlistment programs and options. Implemented and conducted Army Awareness Programs throughout a population of over 73,000 people. Gave presentations to city councils and high schools. Plans and coordinates all administrative activities; establishes work priorities and duty assignments. Maintained 100% accountability of dental equipment valued at over 2.5 million dollars by conducting scheduled and unscheduled inventories, adhering to repair and replacement schedules and maintaining strict adherence to the manufacturer’s guidelines. Maintained security of the equipment as the key control officer and building manager.
