  Description Of Duties: -Assist in performing and implementing all customs clearance activities such for imports and exports-Following upcoming cargo, document transactions and day to day related activities in accordance with the procurement objectives, policies and procedures.-Document transactions, following outgoing cargo up to the customers company in the country of importation and day to day activities in accordance with the shipping department.- Manage logistics operations including all logistics assets in order to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of organization cargoes.- Assist in coordinating with the clearing agents for import duties and VAT payments and incase of exports prepare supporting documents required.-Assist in following up with finance department and suppliers for reception of complete set of import documents for custom clearance purposes, and ensure its compliance with Zambian customs regulations and other stake holders such as Zambia Bureau of Standards and Ministry of Health.-Assist in following up with the freight forwarders and shipping lines for freight quotations and price lists for inbound and outbound shipments.
