Implementation of corporate occupational safety, health & environmental policy. Carry out duties in accordance with company HSE systems & procedures. Ensure full compliance of company/legal and client requirement on the project. Make JSA and permit for work on derrick, mud pit, lifting load, working with mud pumps, running in hole, lay down drill pipes, rig move, etc. Providing permit for hot & cold, working at height, confined space and LOTO. Monitor and correct unsafe work practices involving all personnel ensure that the Permit to Work System is rigidly applied. To conduct toolbox talk as per schedule or as necessary, Scrutinize the pre task plan for the safety aspects of new job / new process to be under taken. Conduct training for firefighting, H2S emergency and environment safety. Inspection of helipad for chopper launch. Scheduling and conducting departmental safety committee meeting including pre-tour and pre-task meetings. Site safety inspection, investigation of near miss accident, unusual occurrence& making recommendation to avoid recurrence. Co-ordinate with the medical officer for conducting medical examination of employees. On-site emergency preparedness & organizing mock drills etc. Co-ordinations with concerned department in planning and organizing measures necessary of the effective control of unusual occurrences. Carry out internal safety audit and get prepared for third party inspection. Identify unsafe act, condition, and hazard investigate root causes and recommended corrective and preventative action and report to management. Accident / incident investigation and reporting. Ensure that any equipment on site is suitable with necessary certificate. Ensure appropriate PPE and other safety equipment used in the project. Update HSE statistics regularly & installed job related safety signage /notice across the site. Assist and support to execute HSE programs. Ensure the establishment of positive safety culture. Waste management, Pollution prevention & control and Ensure appliance of environmental law and policies. Various compliance activities and implementation of various aspects of management. Development of weekly/monthly HSE reports. Conduct annual site HSE inspections to assure compliance with corporate policies/procedures. Assure the timely reporting and maintenance of accident statistics (e.g. incident rate). Maintain, develop and continually improve the company's existing integrated management for all HSE related issues. Assist management in HSE company procedures. Liaise & report to management and other departments on shore.
