      I started the noon broadcast from the ground up. I was responsible for all writing, editing and journalistic content of the newscast. I also booked and pre-interviewed guests, managed a hectic newsroom, all while never missing a deadline. I presented local news and feature story ideas to the News Director, reporters and producers for approval. I also managed all breaking news.

      As Director of Programming, I am accountable for leading a 3-member team to manage all national and local programming for two 24-hour broadcast channels – from scheduling and workflow management through program development, production, broadcasting, and web traffic monitoring.Among my accomplishments, I have:➥ Led a team of Traffic Managers to coordinate and approve programming, commercials, and on-air marketing campaigns across broadcasting, on-demand, and streaming channels.➥ Ensured continuous monitoring of web traffic to evaluate KPIs, understand customer needs, and capitalize viewership growth opportunities.➥ Collaborated with the Director of Production to ideate creative concepts/programs and bring them to life.➥ Sourced, evaluated, and acquired content on a $500K budget; cultivated relationships with independent producers to secure a steady stream of original content, documentaries, and series.➥ Partnered with the Promotions Department to drive the full campaign creation process (including conceptualization, development, and launch) and drive viewership/membership growth.➥ Maintained a database of all programming and on-air marketing campaigns.➥ Secured a collaboration with multiple TV stations to produce a series on mental health; presented to the Governor to secure buy-in and obtain grant funding for the program which aired on all stations in 12/2019.➥ Partnered with independent content providers and producers to scale local production volume from 7% to 15% (with a corresponding increase in production quality). ➥ Optimized the program delivery model; developed standardized, formalized, and scalable procedures to ensure the efficient delivery of new programs.➥ Steered the company through the challenging pandemic environment by adapting SOPs to enable broadcasting from home.
