  Worked as a Primary level English Language Teacher for Grades 2, 3, 4 and 5. Taught both the CBSE curriculum and the Cambridge curriculum to enhance students learning and understanding of the English language. Working at DPS International School was a great experience as it challenged me to be creative and innovative in the teaching and learning process. As a department member, teamwork, collaboration, innovation and creativity was the skill exhibited throughout the entire school year. Having started the creative writing in Grades 3 and 4 with another collegue to enhance student writing and imaginative skills, there was great improvement in student writing skills that led to the adaption of the creative writing skills for all Grade level learners. This did improve student performance generally in all subjects and did well to enrich their vocabulary which built their fluency and communication skills greatly. It is always a great thing for me as a teacher to inspire originality and higher- order thinking in a way that upsurges student performance while building a long-term career as a teacher in a position that offers opportunities for career development, and to keep up with cutting-edge teaching technologies. I am always looking forward to learn new skills, employ skills and knowledge acquired to contribute, encourage and inspire learners to excel in all they do. Show less
