As a direct result of this, several fundamental errors were subsequently identified with the NOTAM input onto GMSS. These errors meant it was highly likely that the Chinook force was planning and flying without complete or accurate NOTAM information due to an issue with transfer of information between systems.Having identified these errors, the Station Mission Support Cell brought them to the attention of both the chain of command and industry. The team also self-imposed an ongoing 100% NOTAM assurance to ensure that the Chinook force could continue to operate safely. The errors identified by the Station Mission Support Cell are now being investigated by industry at the highest levels to find a resolution. Show less
