  Halton Marine provides hvac solutions for ship building, oil & gas and energy industriesI was accountable for helping project management team in various tasks, especially in project specific documentation. I worked closely with project engineers, export team and production. My tasks included: -Gathering and managing project documentation and drawings together-Reporting to the customer-Taking part to possible customer/third party inspections (factory acceptance test)-Product tailoring in ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics AX)I also did my thesis to Halton Marine's project management department. The thesis focused on project management's performance measurements (KPI).This internship's duration was five months and it was part of my BBA studies.   I got to be part of the company's procure-to-pay process. I was responsible for assisting Halton Marine's procurement in the daily operative operations. My responsibility was mainly to acquire goods and services as well as collect related order-specific documentation. This job required comprehension from supply chain procedures and also capability to work in international working environment. Fast and spontaneous reacting, interaction skills, and prioritising skills were also requirements for this task. Main tool for daily operative operations was Microsoft Dynamics AX.   As a application specialist trainee in Rantalainen I get to solve problems concerning the combination of financial management/accounting and softwares. I am responsible for serving as a admin in our enterprise’s resource planning system. Mainly this task means customer information maintaining, for example adding new customers, contracts or pricing in to the system. Also companys internal data management is part of this task. I also work as a admin in Visma Fivaldi which is a accounting and property management software. I have the privilege, to get to be part of the softwares comissioning process. Comissioning process is composed of adding the customer in to the system, adding user-specified settings in to the software, and training the customer to use the software. My responsibility is also to help the customer and coworkers in possible problems concerning the software and its use. I have also some experience in Visma Netvisor bookkeeping and payroll computation software. So far this opportunity to work in Rantalainen has been a great learning experience, because I have gotten to work in two of my main interest: financial management and various systems. Also the ongoing automation of financial process management in the industry makes this position even more interesting.
