Worked towards closing the communication gap between parents/guardians and volunteer mentors.   Coordinated and managed a volunteer program consisting of over 150 active volunteers who support VCP's educational and community-based programming. Implemented outreach efforts to foster partnerships with local communities, organizations, and programs. Launched over 5 new local partnerships to construct ongoing pipelines of volunteers, interns, and employees joining the VCP team and gaining relevant experience while supporting our programs. Designed and implemented an internship program to provide interns and VCP programs with a mutually beneficial experience. Launched, managed, and led an internal Advisory Committee of over 15 staff members focusing on strategically increasing our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at an organizational-level.
