  During my time in the AAFC, I spent years instructing theory and practical subjects to lower-ranked cadets. In these same years, I established myself as the highest attainable rank and had been seen as the cadet-staff liaison for most of my time as a cadet. I took part in mentorship - being both a mentee and a mentor. I was active in my role as the Assistant Training Officer; overseeing the planning of activities, progression of class content for all learning stages, and preparing cadets selected to attend promotion courses.   Dubbo youth council representative

  I was selected to become a Youth Council Representative for the Dubbo district. In this role I attended Sydney Parliament conferences, participating in discussion regarding mental health impacting young lives and what can be done by the government to aid in supporting those suffering. Moreover, this role allowed me to develop my event planning skills, identifying and contacting vendors, participating in advertising on TV and radio, organising logistics of the event, and actively assisting on the day. The Dubbo Youth Council hosts Youth Week, a fundraiser aimed to help several organisations internal and external of the Dubbo district. Show less

  Year 12 prefect

  As a Year 12 prefect, I coordinated assembly items and recruitment campaigns for the AAFC. I took part in being a founder of a pop-up coffee shop aimed at raising money for Compassion - DCS is very passionate about donating to Christian-driven causes and organisations. The coffee shop ran seamlessly for 12 months and encouraged the school to install a permanent coffee shop that continues to run today.

  In the Cyber Defence cluster, I have had the opportunity to work in Risk Management, overseeing audit and risk analysis processes. 2021 will see my role change from Risk Analysis to Assurance and Security, working on educational programs to promote secure uses of devices and softwares.
