  My work as a French Instructor consists in walking the students through the different steps of learning a foreign language ( from learning how to pronounce each letter of the alphabet to how to structure an active or passive sentence). Some, but not all, of the task related to the job are: -The elaboration of educational games and activities in order to teach grammar points seen in class with the professor.- The systematic correction of the student's pronunciation through the explanation of french linguistic phenomenons. - The preparation of short quizzes and examinations to monitor the learning progress of every student. - To work alongside with the professor in order to make sure that every student get their doubts cleared. Show less I worked on two different researches as a Teacher Assistant. The first one consisted of cataloging the recently unveiled Portorican poets of the XIX and XX century. This research was under the tutelage of Dr. Náter of the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. The second research was on the presence of moor's traditions and beliefs in Don Quijote by Miguel de Cervantes.During my experience I learned the different systems of library catalogation. Also, I was taught how to prepare a commented bibliography for a research. Show less
