      As the Events and Administration Officer I was responsible for supporting the delivery of general office tasks as well as the events portfolio for the Research Centre. My responsibilities included:- Planned, organised and ran academic seminars, conferences, workshops and outreach events at the LSE and elsewhere in the UK. (Budgets up to £20,000).- Promoted all events through departmental and school websites, via targeted emails, in newsletters, on posters and by publication in a school events leaflet with a readership of 38,000. - Departmental web editing; ensured accurate web pages, active links and house style. - Proofreading of academic publications; liaised with authors, designers and printers, ensured full house style of documentation. Saw publications through to print and targeted dissemination.- Assisted on documentation reports; Annual and Mid-Term Review Reports. Coordinated relevant data collection, formatted to house style and proof read for accuracy. - Assisted the Finance Manager with maintenance of accounting records, allocation of budget codes and the processing of payments, for multiple million pound accounts.       As Digital Media Manager my role was to raise the profile of digital media across the University and externally, to create new content and lead and deliver on new digital projects. Key responsibilities included:- coordinated campaigns across channels and media for institutional strategic priorities, setting objectives and implementation plans to increase visibility, user experience and enhance reputation- web design and development, training and content creation, video production, branding, and photography - Delivery of a broad portfolio of projects, including cross-College digital projects, merchandise, branding initiatives and social media strategies- Daily management of the Imperial College London website (www.imperial.ac.uk), which received 70 million page views each year, and content responsibility for the top level of the site - Maintaining editorial and print quality across platforms, including supporting developing a digital house style -Encouraged user generated content to be added to the Imperial website, including involving the student community in providing an authentic description of student life for prospective students; monitored and updated the College’s Facebook, Flickr and YouTube channels. Won an international blog competition for student blogs. I provided a professional and consistently high quality approach to all College events. and ensured the appropriate promotion and communication of all events to increase participation and maximise attendance among target audiences, including the use of the College website, direct mail and advertisingI developed and delivered the regular programme of College events and introduced new event lecture series’. I oversaw the work schedule for Events Team and was responsible for determining the scope of the team’s activities, setting deadlines for staff, delegating responsibility where appropriate and running a weekly team meeting. My responsibilities included: I managed the corporate College events, Special Lectures, the Inaugural Lecture series, VIP building openings, Royal visits and international music festivals.       I am responsible for the development and delivery of the IPR's strategy to engage with, inform and influence policy decision-makers as well as the development and delivery of the IPR's communications strategy. I play a key role in brokering interactions between policy professionals and experts from across the University of Bath and drive the use of evidence and expertise in public policy by creating opportunities for public policy professionals and University of Bath academic researchers to learn from each other and enable policy change.I am an accomplished project and research manager and have experience of managing multiple streams of work and projects concurrently. I have extensive experience of networking with multiple stakeholders and agencies and of driving and delivering projects as outcomes from networking activities.
