      Strategic planning and research director

      During my time with McDonald’s Russia, I directed short- / long-term strategy development and implementation. I additionally spearheaded tactical planning processes and oversaw development, operational, and marketing activities. I conducted business research on sales, traffic, and product portfolio analysis as well as regulated competitive analysis and examined market share, development, and marketing strategies. As the Strategic Planning and Research Director, I also performed consumer research and behaviour tracking, then monitored changes in perception and fluctuation of general trends. Furthermore, I actualised the strategic new product development and propelled development tactics / pricing strategy. Some of my key achievements include: ~ Appointed as Chief Accountant and Board Member of Ronald McDonald House of Charities of Russia; saved more than GBP 50K in tax savings annually through successful negotiations and earned GBP 100K annually through investment management. ~ Developed and implemented successful business strategy targeting annual profit growth above 5%. ~ Integrated new promotional tactics including Monopoly Promotion in 2013; secured comparable sales contribution of 9% minimum yearly. ~ Generated efficient research and planning team within budget of GBP 400K. ~ Launched new products and secured 3 to 5% in additional sales.
