  I worked in a specialized program for English language learners with little or interrupted formal education due to forced migration. The guiding principles of my work stemmed from a trauma-informed teaching philosophy and practice. One year contract position as resource teacher to elementary school; administration support; building teacher capacity, one on one intervention and support to students. Temporary contract to provide target intervention English language instruction to ELL students in grade 5-9. Provincial Achievement tests results improved as a result of targeted intervention for students in grades 3 and 9.
