  A Study was conducted as a part of iGMS Asset Health study project to look into the application components for Business Applications and provide recommendations towards improving the stability and serviceability of the system. One of the key observations of the project was the frequent failure of the Oracle streams process, used for the intra-system communication between the sub-systems of iGMS (Integrated Gas Management System). This is considered to be the transfers a huge amount of data to the MSI side through the oracle stream. A solution has been proposed and implemented as part of iGMS Asset Health for reduction of load via applying a ‘conditional rule based’ capture process of Oracle Streams. Show less

  Data Quality Scorecards are built to provide metrics (Completeness, Consistency, Accuracy, Timeliness) on the quality of data on source systems and the EDW integrated data layer. These scorecards are reviewed by the Data Quality working group who represent the producers and consumers of data across AIB. Any issues identified via the scorecards are discussed with the Data Business Partners at the Data Quality Working Group and reported to the Data Quality & Governance Forum as required. The Existing Data Quality platform is being decommissioned by the end of FY2019. All capabilities, reports, profiles and scorecards will now be hosted on new Qlikview platform.
