Zubair Field is located in the Southern area of Iraq, 20 km from Basrah city. The structure of the field is a relatively gentle anticline oriented NNW - SSE, approxi-mately 60 km long and 10-15 km wide. The development plan covers further devel-opment of the Mishrif carbonate reservoir (reference depth 2316.4 m TVDss), the Zubair sandstone, constituted by 3 reservoirs: Upper Shale (reference depth 3170 m TVDss), 3rd pay or Upper Sandstone ( at a reference depth of 3261.4 m TVDss) and the Lower Sandstone or 4th pay reservoir ( at a reference depth of 3459.5 m TVDss). The Zubair Field comprises four domes named respectively (from N to S) Al Ham-mar, Shuaiba, Rafadiyah, and Safwan. The Zubair field has been in operation since 1951 and as such, there is significant existing infrastructure in the field including more than 180 total drilled wells and sur-face processing facilities.Geological, reservoir, and engineering studies were performed using the data availa-ble in the data package and collected so far at site. These studies form the basis for the conceptual study.Effective exploitation of the reservoirs requires pressure support by water injection, dispersed, in Mishrif carbonate reservoir, and peripheral, in Zubair Sandstone reser-voir. During February 2010 the Initial Production Rate (IPR) of Zubair Field was determined in accordance with the methodology and the equipment agreed upon by the parties. The IPR was calculated at 182,778 BOPD with the effective date designated as 18 February 2010. Had the following duties Execute FEED for Oil Degassing Station(DGS) in Mechanical Design (SAIPEM)- Stationary (Desalter, Dehydrator, Boot, Tank etc.)- Rotating (Pump, Compressor etc.)- HAZOP Execute FEED for CPF(Central Production Facility) for Associated Gas Treatment(SAIPEM)- Inlet Facility, Dehydration Unit, Refrigerant System(DPCU), Export Facilities- HAZOP Show less

KOGAS has entered into agreement with the Iraqi government to develop the Akkas Field in ac-cordance with the provision of their Gas Development and Production Service Contract (GDPSC).But since the mid of 2014, some risk problem caused the delay of this project. IS, called as Is-lamic state, attacked and occupied the main area of the project. Therefore the project has been suspended and controlled according to the risk management plan so on. At the same time, the exploration for an alternative project instead of the Akkas project had started. Several candidates were examined through the survey of the oil & gas field of the southern Iraqi area. Then new business models and proposals had been prepared and submitted to Iraqi authorities for the ne-gotiation.Had the following duties Analyze the potential risks and the project execution plan - Monitoring and controlling the procured equipment - Establishing the material & equipment procurement strategy - Set up the rescheduling plan of the project Explore alternative project - Execute feasibility study for alternative project - Make an estimate of alternative project Show less KOGAS has entered into agreement with the Iraqi government to develop the Akkas Field in ac-cordance with the provision of their Gas Development and Production Service Contract (GDPSC).
