  Boy Scouts is a fantastic organization that teaches boys good leadership skills and other skills that enhance one's life. For me, the experience has been very enriching, and I have grown greatly from it. The BSA (Boy Scouts of America) has been helping people for over a hundred years now with charities, Eagle Projects, and has done much to protect the environment. I Directed my Boy Scout troop and performed varied leadership responsibilities. I Coordinated with troop directors and planned events for the younger scouts, developed and implemented creative strategies to get the troop involved with recruitment, fundraisers, trips and events. I Created “Puzzles for Patients” program, collecting 600 puzzles for sick children at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA), with the goal to take their mind off their illness while in the hospital. I was also the Top Popcorn Sales winner three years in a row for Boy Scouts major Popcorn fundraiser program. Show less
