  Chennai Metro Rail ProjectTUNNEL: Reviewing method statement and ITP for special area of construction activities as agreed by consultant and as per ISO 9001:2008 QMS essential procedure. Property checking of Tunnel Primary Grout & Cube Casting on daily basis. Pre & Post Inspection of Tunnel Segments and repair activity. Preparation of test reports and inspection records for client approval Examining the Survey profiles of the tunnel sections in consultation with the survey dept.STATION: Inspection of Diaphragm wall and Pile activities (Grabbing, Rebar checking & lowering, Concreting). Inspection on applying of primer and placing of water proofing membrane and screed concreting. Inspection of Plunged-In Column and barrette cage fabrication with casting.  Slab rebar and casting inspection in Top-down and Bottom-Up Construction sequences (Base, Concourse and Roof slab). Inspection of Reinforcement & Shuttering works in Plunged In Column Encasing. Inspection of Architectural works like Block work finishing, etc., Preparation of DPR/MPR ( Daily & Monthly progress report). Scheduling and conducting periodic training to Department and Execution Staffs. Testing on properties of Normal and Self Compacting Concrete. Polymer / Bentonite mix preparation & continuous property checking. Witness the external lab tests for specialized material and for source approval.
