Today the school system lacks the quality of its education, and actually even killing the very motivation to study! I strongly believe that it is extremely important to teach our future generation properly, then all the effort that we make today in sciences and technology, culture, and social interactions would be worth it. For these reasons, I developed an educational project, where together with a colleague (Ms.Sc in Biology) we give lectures on the history of our Planet and Life on it starting from the Big Bang, and up to the present day. This project aims to introduce kids and teenagers (as well as their parents) to the world of natural sciences, such as Physics, Biology, Geology, Astrophysics, Paleontology, Anthropology, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences, etc., in a very comprehensive and funny way. We aim to develop in our students a scientific and critical way of thinking, the ability to use their brain more efficiently, ask and answer nonstandard questions, and know that education and science are actually a lot of fun! Our students love our lectures, where we not only explain the difficult subjects in simple, though proper terms but also make some work together - drawing, sculpting, playing a quiz, etc. Voir moins
