I combined… Show more Thesis: "Computational Methods for Assisting Radio Drama Production" (Submitted - Defended April 1st, 2020)My thesis pertained to utilizing heterogeneous data (music, speech, sound, digital audio effects, and literary story text) to adapt short literary stories to radio drama in order to assist an aspiring radio drama production team. I worked on modelling of music, non-musical audio (speech, sound effects, and digital audio effects), and textual data (literary stories). I combined statistical ML ( SpaCy, Flair, and Sklearn) with lexical and commonsense knowledge bases (WordNet, ConceptNet), as well as rule-based methods to extract information from literary stories such as characters, locations, and emotions, organize and recommend relevant audio assets, generate production scripts, and produce takes based on best practices.
