After three years, I was given an opportunity to transfer to the Chicago ocean division where I expanded by knowledge of the industry and continued to handle multiple accounts. I was responsible for pre-clearing cargo through Customs, duty payment, classification, regulatory application, post entry resolution, audits and monitoring of outport brokers. I was given another opportunity within the company and transitioned to the Dallas / Fort Worth area as District Licensee.
