The Process Excellence Specialist supports the operation of products and services that impacts all Owner Experience staff. The primary function of this role is to proactively engage with branch staff to develop procedures, workflows and work instructions that streamlines processes and creates a consistent and positive experience for staff and ultimately Owners. This role focuses on activities related to the attraction, maintenance, and coaching of Owners within a shared branch portfolio. By using curious conversations, the OER helps proactively identify our Owner’s financial goals, then works closely with all team members to appropriately refer opportunities within all segments. The OER creates an exceptional new Owner experience by being well versed in all daily banking products and services, with the purpose of building and fostering long-term full relationships with Owners. Show less Answer the telephone and greet owners while identifying product & service opportunities. Make quality referrals to sales staff members. Lead and participate in various campaigns. Perform a variety of reception duties such as handling incoming inquiries, booking appointments, filing, managing incoming & outgoing mail and courier, taking and preparing minutes of meetings, ordering supplies & stationary, and opening and closing the branch. Perform credit union operational tasks such as reviewing new accounts for FINTRAC compliance, manage incoming & outgoing collection items, set up safety deposit box rentals & collect rental fees, set up debit cards, assist owners in applying for credit cards, organize accounts payable, sell travel insurance, set up and troubleshoot online/mobile banking, process retail loan payouts, and review a variety of reports on a monthly basis.
