      I focused on assisting with the preparation of periodic Management Accounts. In addition to this, i was responsible for producing other periodic reports like the Gross and Net claims paid. Other functions involved analysis of cost centre performance, competitor analysis and reconciliations of banks and cashbook accounts.In my first year i was responsible for the payables part of the business which included raising of payments and posting of transactions in the system. In addition to this i was assistant to the treasurer, hence i was part of the communication with the banks about the fund position of the corporation and was also kept in the loop about investments in Treasury Bills and Fixed deposits.
