      Responsible for all office based workers, independent living coordinators (these provide services and care for the elderly residents who do not require nursing care), block and mobile caretakers, housing patch managers, rents team managers and call centre employees. My responsibilities and duties are as follows:To provide a front line health and safety advise ad guidance service to all teams listed. Developing and implementing risk assessments for issues such as lone working or work at height, Recording (and investigating further where necessary) incidents, near misses and violent incident towards employees including incidents occurring to tenants and members of the public. Working with incident statists and trends.Arranging and minuting the housing operations health and safety committee which meets every 6 weeks. Carrying out audits inline with the health and safety management system which is accredited to BS OHSAS 18001.Carrying out scheduled and unplanned site inspection.Creating and delivering bespoke and engaging health and safety training and toolbox talks such as inductions, manual handling, asbestos, legionella, online learning etc. Undertaking individual workstation assessments.Developed A5 loose leaf health, safety and environmental handbooks for the caretakers and independent living coordinators.Able to reorganise work load and commitments to respond to service needs and incidents on site as and when they occur.
