  My specialty: I sell, plan and organize highly customized tours of France. I run a one-man-show, but I am assisted and complemented by very talented local partners: Claire and Sandrine, as my go-to guides in Paris and Normandy; Steeve, Bogdan and Pierre as my go-to private driver-guides in Paris, Bordeaux and French Riviera; my coach suppliers and my so many hotel friends. My company mostly work on group tours, though I also like to put together individual private tours. Here is my take in all of this (because one must be crazy to run a travel business on his own! Think about 9/11, terrorist attacks, storms and weather related events like floods and wildfires, Covid-19, etc): I think of travelling as one of the best ways to educate people about the surrounding world. I endure all the shenanigans of running a company just because of the look on the face of my guests when they see something they have been dreaming about for so long. Show less In this position, I led forestry-themed tours in North-Western USA with my good friend and colleague Remy CLAIRE, a world class specialist on the douglas fir tree, for French professionals in the wood industry (from logging, to transforming to building and exporting).I also led cultural and discovery tours of the Western USA and Canada for french coach groups and private individual tours. During these tours, my main focus is on Geology, History and Local Communities, and how these three themes interconnect with each other. Show less
