During Secondary 2, my efforts were recognized as I went for an interview to be part of the Student Council and I was successful and started off as a Junior Councilor, wearing the tie and badge to school everyday. When I was Secondary 3, I was promoted to Senior Councilor and took part in many events and ensured that they were well planned and executed. Finally, thanks to God's grace, my mentor and my hardwork, I am finally able to fulfil my dreams of being closer to the Aviation Industry and making a big impact. I want to and will make SIAE the greatest and biggest aviation organization in Asia by contributing as much as possible to it and do whatever I can to elevate it to greater heights.I have been a valued member of SIAE and have secured partnerships for SIAE such as ITAP and with NTU. In addition, I have also done and presented the financial reports which include the Profit & Loss and the Balance Sheet for the FY 2022-2023 for the 48th AGM. I was specially tasked to do this by the President of SIAE, Lim Yeow Khee, due to the fact that our Hon Treasurer failed to deliver the approved and audited financial reports that are signed by the auditors. I single handedly solved this problem, which caused the AGM to be invalidated. This task is supposed to be done by our Hon Treasurer but he failed to do so and there were many discrepancies which made the auditors not sign it. I took this up on my own and solved it within a week, especially during such a time when there was a crisis for SIAE and when SIAE was in such a dire situation. I managed to work tirelessly during the weekends of the New Year and during New Year's Eve without complaining and managed to balance the accounts and answered the auditors on the quarries they had and eventually got them to approve and sign the reports. These were then presented during the AGM which took place on the 13th of Jan 2024. Show less

      Singapore Aerotech Resource Centre (SARC) is the Training and Continuing Education Arm of the Singapore Institute of Aerospace Engineers (SIAE). Its purpose is to Safeguard the Aviation Industry through the Provision of appropriate Training and Continuing Education as well as Sharing of Industry Knowledge, Resources and Best Practices with Engineers, Technicians and Managers through Experienced Industry Practitioners.SARC will focus on four areas in its Training and Continuing Education efforts for the Aerospace Engineers, Technicians and Managers: Technical Skills, Continuing Education, Soft Skills and Corporate Training.I have attained 6 main skillsets from working in SARC. Firstly, it will be Course Content Development. I managed to convert boring old notes to lively videos that people of all ages will enjoy watching and listening to. This shows Educational Technology Integration alongside Multimedia Content Creation. This is also a good and better way to learn and I also did Curriculum Development.The 2nd skillset will be Marketing. I help SARC with social media marketing on platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn. I also do content marketing for their courses, creating pamphlets and brochures and email marketing.The 3rd skillset will be Business Development. I help SARC and SIAE with Partnership Developments such as ITAP and during MRO Asia. I also do Client Relationship Management, Sales and Lead Management.The 4th skillset will be Aviation Industry Knowledge. I am knowledgeable with many areas such as safety, regulations, compliance, market analysis, aerodynamics and general aircraft systems. I am able to put my knowledge to good use when doing course content creation.The 5th skillset will be soft skills. I display leadership abilities, effective communication, teamwork, problem solving abilities, adaptability and creative thinking.The 6th skillset will be Professional Networking. I am currently helping the 1st Warrent Officers with their day to day tasks for many operations in Sembawang Camp. I was heavily involved in the 64th Vocational Assessment.
