      Design Undo is a multidisciplinary practice which vouches for sustainability. We work with local and natural materials to create sensible designs with a minimal environmental impact. Projects-1. Waste Water treatment - For 750 factory workers at Kumaran Spinning and ginning mills in Tirupur, TN. - Designed a constructed wetland to treat grey water and kitchen waste water. - Used the treated water for growing trees and fodder.2. Studio house in Auroville, TN- Designed a studio house and a guest room for a designer in Auroville.- Total built-up area is 1720 sq.ft- Its a self-sustained property with features like Rain water harvesting, natural waste water treatment, solar panels.- The building materials are locally sourced. Lime, stone and reclaimed wood is extensively used.3. Rammed Earth Construction- Consultancy for Phase-I construction at Aananda Permaculture Farm, Chandigarh.- Executing rammed earth walls stabilised with locally sourced lime.- Training the local team in rammed earth technique.4. Private residence in Kodaikanal, TN- Design and execution consultancy for a house made in stone and rammed earth in the hills.- Earth plasters using locally available soil. Show less
