  Alamein Towers in Alamein New CityProject Brief:-The project is subdivided into seven zones are constructed by the following Contractors: Hassan Allam & CCC Joint Venture, Orascom, Dorra, Redcon, Siac, Arab Contractors, Samco.Project Description:-The project consists of (15) mixed uses towers (Garages, Commercial and Residential), ranging from 100 to 160 meters height, to be constructed on 3-storey Podiums with total area: 688,092 m2 and estimated budget 38 billion EGP. Tasks and responsibilities:1-Review and approval of contractors submitted baseline schedules.2-Preparing & finalizing daily, weekly and monthly reports for the Client purposes.3-Review and approval of daily, weekly and monthly contractors reports.4-Leading the contractors to resubmit and finalize more appropriate schedules in very difficult situations.5-Preparing special reports and dashboards for top management.6-Preparing and finalizing weekly presentations for the client, to be presented during site visits by the Minister of Housing.7-Reviewing Contractors’ updated schedules on a monthly basis for monitoring, controlling and tracking the projects.8-Evaluation and reporting the performance of the contractors.9-Developing a roughly estimated weighting system for monitoring the project in a simple way and measuring its progress.10-Monitoring site works and recording delays (Actual % versus Planned %).11-Preparing a high level master schedule at the early stage of the projects.12-Preparing a detailed work progress sheets contractors. 13-Doing a weekly inspection on site for taking factual records, assuring achievement of the targeted plan and monitoring sequencing of work activities on site.14-Attending weekly progress meetings with contractors for discussing the work progress status (planned versus actuals), delayed activities, mitigation and targeted plans, etc.,15-Giving support/ recommendation on site regarding issues concerning contractual & program letters replying.
