      The Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), in Malaysia, hosted this competition, in which teams from the Asia-Pacific region competed. I participated as an oralist in a team that discussed issues concerning International Commercial Arbitration, specifically the legality of a contract and the contractual obligations of the parties involved in shipments.

      More than 20 Indonesian teams participated in this national-scale competition. The Universitas Brawijaya team was chosen as one of the top eight. In a team, I participated as the main researcher. My responsibilities included conducting research and constructing a memorial on issues regarding treaty succession, the legality of autonomous weapons systems, government ministers accused of war crimes, and the conflicting jurisdictions of ICJ and WTO.

      I worked as a research assistant of Ibu Milda Istiqomah, S.H., MTCP., Ph.D., a criminal law lecturer from the Faculty of Law at Universitas Brawijaya, together with the other 7 research assistants. The majority of the research was focused on criminal law. The job responsibilities included assisting in the writing of research proposals, conducting research on the assigned topic, revising research proposals or journals, translating journals from Indonesian to English, attending FGDs/seminars/meetings with topics related to the research projects, and working on other projects. As a research assistant, I translated 6 journals and assisted with a research proposal about premeditated murder cases in Indonesia as well as a module about extradition and political asylum. Show less I worked as a student journalist at PSIK (Pusat Sistem Informasi & Kehumasan), Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya. I was hired by Ibu Ranitya Ganindha, S.H., M.H., a civil law lecturer from the Faculty of Law at Universitas Brawijaya. The main responsibility of this position is to translate all information posted by the Faculty of Law at Universitas Brawijaya from Indonesian to English. The information will then be posted on Instagram, Facebook, Websites, and other social media platforms owned by the Faculty of Law. There were over 80 documents that I translated. I was also handling a social media account owned by the Faculty of Law to manage posts and respond to questions as well as criticism from society.       Over 550 teams from 90 countries participated in this international-scale competition. During the preliminary rounds, the Universitas Brawijaya team was selected as one of the top 250 teams, ranking 176th. My main contribution was as an oralist, which included conducting research, constructing a memorial, and pleading as an Applicant on issues regarding state responses to a global pandemic and a claim for political asylum. This competition was attended by approximately 25 teams from Asia-Pacific countries. The Universitas Brawijaya team was chosen as one of the top eight. In this competition, I competed as an oralist in a team. My responsibilities included conducting research, constructing a memorial, and pleading as an Applicant on issues regarding state responses to a global pandemic and a claim for political asylum.

      I work as a legal content developer (legal compliance specialist) at Hukumonline, a company specialising in technology-based regulatory platforms. My role involves conducting legal research and analysis to assist clients in their business operations by collecting legislative regulations from central to local levels in Indonesia. I analyse the compliance obligations that clients must fulfil under these regulations. Additionally, I participate in User Acceptance Tests (UAT) for the latest platforms developed by the IT team and contribute to client presentations, which include research findings and sector-specific compliance information. I regularly research and update clients on the latest relevant regulations.
