  • Support company's strategy of increasing production on mature oil fields, focusing on value and cost management.• Responsible for delivering the quarterly production forecasts - integrating the well declines, activity set and new wells - then performance managing production on the asset to deliver on these forecasts.• Maximize the field total production, making the most of the available flow lines, surface facilities and well stock, and identifying opportunities to optimise its usage. This involves working with the Production Management Unit and Production Support Systems squad.• New well start-up and intervention planning.• Understand daily well performance. Issue short-term production forecasts and document production shortfalls in company’s production management system. Ensure accurate production and injection allocation.• Responsible for H2S management - understanding sand risk of H2S, coordinating the monthly H2S management meeting, working with the production chemist and lab tech for inhibitition plans and priorities.• Provide clear communication and operational instructions to the off the unit production team for site execution. Parameters for delivery.Production Technology and artificial lift design:- Select and design artificial lift systems ( ESP, SRP, SRP, PCP ), system change.- Monitor and assess the production performance of the wells.- Well analysing using echometer and Rodstar softwares for generating build up interpretation. - Evaluate well performance for key production indicators to better manage sand production.- Inhibitors dosage optimisation for H2S in gas wells and paraffin for oil wells.- Participate in daily production meetings, calls with Operations and Subsurface management team.- Managing production operations on field. - Technical support for procurement department. - Production losses / gains, root cause.- Compliance and implementation the best of HSEQ procedures.Well Integrity Management:- Calculate and monitor well performance within operating envelope and flag potential deviations.- Plan and execute well integrity related testing and work resolution to well integrity challenges.- Support field area chemical utilisation and management. - Support Plug&Abandon activities.Development Planning:- Support the development department in forecasting new well production and infrastructure constraints for a field area.- Provide inputs to field development plan based on operational knowledge.- Participate in weekly development team meetings to share learnings.
