  Trusted in Project Management role replacing and updating legacy State of Michigan applications. Recently implemented the REAL ID project that is federally mandated to be up and running in October of 2017. The project involved coordination of several areas of the SOM infrastructure to work together to make the changes necessary to allow for the new indicators to be presented correctly on various types of Michigan identification HardCards. I am also managing a project that ingests Unisys mainframe data using the Solimar to convert and extrapolate a csv metadata file and PDF files so that the information can be stored in a FileNet database. My other current project is the separation of driver and vehicle on the mainframe so that the SOM Legacy Modernization project can move forward. A past project was upgrading a 20 year old case management system to the Salesforce.gov cloud platform. This involved working hand in hand with our in house development team and contracted vendors to configure a COTS package that would meet the needs of the customer as well as satisfy the SOM rigid security requirements. In another project I participated in the writing of a request for proposal for replacement of an existing outdated custom application. I facilitated a positive environment that kept the team focused on the incremental gains of the project until ultimately the project was a success. All projects require communication, project management principles, accountability and personal fortitude to get them to completion. Show less
