  The Duty Dispatch Manager (DDM) manages the staff in the Sydney Flight Dispatch Centre to ensure that an efficient and effective service is provided to Qantas and Customer Technical Aircrew. The DDM is responsible for receiving and effectively disseminating all aeronautical information affecting flying operations and administration thus ensuring correct action is taken in a timely manner. The Officer Flight Dispatch role is required to provide Qantas Airlines operating International Flight Crew with the necessary fuel flight plan computations and Flight Watch monitoring.
