  I started Portside Yacht Brokers in 1998 after a 17 year career in new/used boat sales at some of the largest marinas in the West Michigan area. While selling new boats I represented company's such as Hatteras, Bertram, Sea Ray, Tiara Yachts, Pursuit, Viking, Ocean Yachts, Grand Banks, Chris Craft, Wellcraft, PowerQuest, Fountain, Century, Island Packet, Endeavour and more. I have good boat construction knowledge having toured or attended factory schools at most of the above mentioned manufactures along with Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, Mercury and have been involved in literally hundreds of boat surveys.Owner and president of PYB starting the company from the ground floor, delivering professional presentation and marketing of used power and sailboats with focus on a strong internet presence. Excellent customer satisfaction and repeat business. Handled all aspects of the business; sales, advertising, accounting, website development, employee management, facility maintenance, legal, etc. Good computer skills including Word, Excel, QuickBooks, photo editing etc. I am also a licensed Florida Yacht & Ship salesperson and operate a remote office in Florida for Portside Yacht Brokers.I hold a US Coast Guard 200 Ton Masters license for both power and sail and am an independent yacht captain here in South Florida.
