I was recognized for my work as Director of HR at Next Step Living - specifically my work with the Career Centers in Boston and with the Mayors Office on Jobs and their Pathways Out of Pverty Grant. These programs had the triple impact of putting Massachusetts citizens back to work; allowed… Show more These awards are given to those who exemplify the Boston Private Industry Council (PIC)'s mission of connecting the youth and adults of Boston to the mainstream economy through education and employment. I was recognized for my work as Director of HR at Next Step Living - specifically my work with the Career Centers in Boston and with the Mayors Office on Jobs and their Pathways Out of Pverty Grant. These programs had the triple impact of putting Massachusetts citizens back to work; allowed many of them to receive paid on-the-job training in which they learned sustainable, transferable job skills; all while helping NSL achieve a stunning 2000% growth from 20 employees in January of 2010 to over 400 employees by September 2012.
