U.s. secret service
Aug 1987 - Oct 1989U.s. secret service officerAssigned to the White House Security Detail in 1987 to protect President Ronald Regan. Promoted to the Emergency Response Team and continued with the security and safety of President George Bush. Recognized as the 1987 Outstanding Marksman for the U.S. Secret Service. Selected for specialized duties; included were Vice Presidential / First Lady Security Details, Bomb Team Technician, and Emergency Response Team (E.R.T.)

Oct 1989 - May 1992U.s. marshalAssigned to the District of Colorado as a U.S. Marshal. Investigated and apprehended wanted fugitives. Provided high threat security for high profile trials across the country. Transported federal prisoners both nationally and internationally. Selected for specialized duties included coordinator of the Witness Protection Program and personal bodyguard/driver for Drug Czar William Bennett. Awarded the World Police and Fire Games Olympic gold medal for powerlifting in Memphis, TN 1990.

Coordinated with state and local governments to secure state licensing and contractual agreements for a 200 bed prison. Hired and supervised 65 employees to include correctional officers, medical personnel, and certified teaching instructors. Organized and maintained a 3.5 million dollar budget for the operation and maintenance of the facility.

Clearfield county government
Apr 1993 - Nov 1999InvestigatorChairman of the Security Board for the Clearfield County Courthouse. Designed and implemented security for the new courthouse annex. Obtained federal grant monies for the first Digital Imagining Program to assist in the enforcement of Domestic Relations Bench Warrants across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Investigated and apprehended wanted individuals and provided security in the courtroom during trials.

Clearfield area school district
Nov 1999 - Oct 2013Director of technologyResponsibilities included management of a large multiple site network utilizing multi-level security and ISACA Business Standards, supervising staff and human resources, vendor relations, budget planning, strategic planning, and both building and information security. I was the Pennsylvania State Applications Security Officer, Child Accounting Supervisor, and E-Rate coordinator. I developed technology plans in conjunction with national standards and local budget considerations and served on multiple boards and committees with reference to educational, technical, and security agendas. I designed the technology needs in a complete district renovation project from architectural design to completion and have communicated the goals and mission of the district to the community.
